Graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1975-1980)

During my undergraduate studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, I developed a strong interest to study neuroendocrinology. For graduate studies I wanted to go to the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

In 1974, I submitted my application for graduate studies at the UW-Madison. On a visit to the UW-Madison campus, I contacted Prof. Harry J. Karavolas asking for an interview. After I was accepted to graduate school, I joined Dr. Karavolas' lab, with the additional guidance of Dr. Robert W. Goy as a student in the interdisciplinary program of Endocrinology.

I completed my M.Sc. thesis research in 1976. My M.Sc. thesis research was published in Brain Research.

For my Ph.D. studies I moved to the laboratory of Dr. Colin Jefcoate as suggested by my adviser Dr. David Nelson.

For the list of publications based on my graduate research see the publications list.
